Luckily our barn is high and dry! So, no need to worry about getting soaked if the weather takes a turn. Although raining on your wedding day can put a damper on things, it does make for great photo opportunities and of course they say it’s good luck!

You can bring your own alcohol to this venue! Food and drink recommendations will normally be made by the owners or event planners of an outdoor barn venue, however the options can be endless. ! Food trucks can be easily accommodated. Outdoor cooking is another fun option. On site cooking can be enjoyable for guests, creating a buzz of excitement and atmosphere of pleasant anticipation. Always check with local laws and regulations as well as rules set by the property owners. Most times a bartender is required by law to serve alcohol, but BYOB is common among barn weddings. The Hitching Post requires all alcohol be served by a licensed bartender and all food catering companies must be approved before the day of the wedding. 

Yes! We do have two bathrooms available at the Hitching Post. We also have other accommodations which include; air conditioned bridal room, a kitchen area for prep, and a couple of stalls available for a photobooth, bar station, or anything else you might need.
